Hi, I’m Brandon Beatty.

I’m an uplifting trance producer and audio engineer with a B.A. in Sound Engineering Arts.

I grew up playing classical guitar, but everything changed when a music teacher introduced me to my first DAW, Reason 4, in 2007. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong obsession.

I was always drawn to trance—the epic leads, cinematic atmosphere, classical influence, and hypnotic rhythms that felt like they were coming from somewhere beyond this world. That pull became a mission. I committed myself to learning the craft, studying the techniques behind the producers who inspired me, and developing a sound built around emotion, energy, and melody.

Now, part of that mission is sharing what I’ve learned with the next generation of trance producers.

Music production can seem unnecessarily complicated when you're starting out. My goal is to break trance production down into practical, understandable techniques so you can spend less time feeling overwhelmed and more time actually making music.

Whether through my tutorials or one-on-one production lessons, I want to make the knowledge behind professional trance production more accessible while showing that you don't need to know everything to start making great records.

Learn the techniques. Understand why they work. Then make them your own.

My Approach

Music production doesn't need to feel complicated.

My approach is built around understanding why something works, not memorizing rules or copying settings. I break trance production down into practical concepts you can hear, understand, and apply to your own music.

The goal isn't to make you produce like me. It's to give you the knowledge and confidence to develop your own sound.

Keep it Simple

Complex techniques don't have to be taught in complicated ways. I focus on clear, practical methods you can immediately apply to your productions.

Understand the Why

Instead of giving you presets, numbers, and rules to follow, I teach the reasoning behind the decisions so you can solve problems on your own.
